On October 22, 2021 Beijing International Symposium on Microelectronics and IC WORLD Academic Conference was grandly opened in Yizhuang, Beijing. The conference was organized by Beijing Municipal Bureau of Economy and Information Technology and Beijing Economic and Technological Development Zone Administrative Committee, and co-organized by Beijing Semiconductor Industry Association (CBSIA), Semiconductor Industry International Association (SEMI), Chinese American Semiconductor Association (CASPA), Zhongguancun Integrated Circuit Industry Alliance (ZIA), Northern Integrated Circuit Technology Innovation Center (Beijing) Co. Ltd. and Beijing Yizhuang International Investment Development Co.

The theme of this year's IC WORLD is "Gathering Core Power, Building Core Eternity", which brings together experts and scholars from government, enterprises, universities, research institutes and other fields, and invites industry experts to conduct extensive exchanges on topics such as the development of China's IC and microelectronics industry and capital operation, the creation of an innovative and entrepreneurial environment, and the integration of high-end elements in the industry.

Dr. Pan Jie, general manager of KFMI, made a report at the summit forum, detailing the objectives and achievements of KFMI from various aspects such as "the current situation of semiconductor chip material industry", "the layout of localization of semiconductor materials", "the influence of geopolitics of core raw materials and the process of local breakthrough", "six tasks that must be accomplished by IC material enterprises", etc. He also gave a detailed explanation of KFMI in various aspects such as material technology innovation, introduction of advanced equipment, senior talent reserve and customer service.
